Angelina Heads to Iraq to Talk Humanitarian Aid, Not Babies

For the second time in the past seven months, Angelina Jolie is visiting Iraq to meet with top officials and, apparently, share a little lunch with the troops. She is there on a humanitarian mission to talk about getting aid to the thousands of people displaced by conflict. She sat down with CNN to talk about her reasons for returning to the area, the problems she sees, and what she hopes to accomplish through her work with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees). You can watch her whole interview below, but what got cut off is that the interviewer couldn't help but try to ask about those pregnancy rumors. Whoops. In the full transcript you can see how Angelina responded:

Damon: There are reports out of Hollywood that . . .(laughs) Jolie: Oh don't.

Wynwood residents call for unity on affordable housing

When Teo Martinez looks out her front door, she can see workers demolishing a Wynwood building that long housed working-class folks.

She saw the renters, some whom she believes lived there for decades, evicted.

''Instead of fixing that place up for the people who have been living there for 30 years, the owners kicked them out,'' Martinez said from behind the lectern.

She's worried about her own future in Wynwood.

Martinez shared this story with about 100 people Saturday at a call-to-action meeting in the auditorium of José de Diego Middle School, 3100 NW Fifth Ave.

As a member of Miami en Acción (Miami in Action), a group which advocates for people facing displacement in their neighborhood, Martinez knew she had to do something.

Wal-Mart to open in-store clinics

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will open its first in-store medical clinics under its own brand name after leasing space in dozens of stores to outside companies that operate the quick-service health stops.

The world's largest retailer said yesterday it will open "The Clinic at Wal-Mart" as a joint venture with local hospital systems in Atlanta, Dallas and Little Rock, Ark., starting in April.

Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart is among several U.S. supermarket and drug store chains that in the past couple of years have begun opening store-based health clinics, which are staffed mostly by nurse practitioners or physician assistants and offer quick service for routine conditions from colds and bladder infections to sunburn.

How the Once-Mighty Knicks Have Fallen

But you did come close. I often wonder how you four would have reacted to a 33-win season. Something tells me you wouldn't have thought, "hey, contract extensions for everybody!"

But then, something tells me you wouldn't have promoted an intern who admitted to having an affair with a married player who admitted to calling another female employee bitch.

You would not have allowed certain unqualified employees to think they have the run of the place. You would not have played your point guard 34 minutes the day after he went AWOL. You would not have signed Jerome James. You would not have dismantled the Marty Glickman radio booth for the almighty dollar. Marv Albert would still be calling games. Patrick Ewing would be a coach. Allan Houston would be in the front office along with Larry Johnson.

Hawaii's values, traditions can inspire a nation

When I set out to achieve universal health care as first lady back in 1993, I knew I needed to learn from Hawaii's pioneering example. So I traveled to your state and met with health care professionals and community leaders to discuss how Hawaii's approach to health care could be a model for America. I was greatly impressed by what I saw.

I was impressed by your passionate belief that health care is not a luxury -- but a fundamental right. I was impressed by this state's proud progressive tradition and firm commitment to caring for all its citizens. And I was impressed by Hawaii's rich cultural heritage and breathtaking natural beauty.

But I know Hawaii also faces unique challenges -- from education to energy to the economy. And the people of Hawaii deserve a president who won't just talk about solutions to those problems -- but will actually deliver.

Virus warning: Don't join MyParty

Anti-virus vendor MessageLabs reports it is already the most popular virus of the last 24 hours.

The worm spreads by attempting to trick victims into opening a file promising entertaining party snaps. Once executed the worm sends itself to everyone in the victim's address book - appearing to come from the infected machine's owner.

As such when future recipients receive the virus, it will most likely come from a friend or colleague, increasing the likelihood of it being opened. As yet virus experts have identified no malicious payload.

Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos anti-virus, said the worm represents a new level of social engineering. "This is something that comes from your mates, and promises party photos. It is very plausible for many users," he said.
