| Britney's Late Night Workout
Later that night she headed to 24 Hour Fitness at 1:30 a.m. to work out for two hours... because you know, that's normal. Apparently a much thinner Britney is working on something really special for her fans in her new video, "Hot as Ice." Also, Adnan's interviews on Entertainment Tonight are still being stretched out over the week with no real news to report. This time he chatted about her stressed relationship with her mom — same old, same old. More of Britney and the lame interview with Adnan on ET so just read more .
Buy-to-let investors hold the key to predicting how far house prices ...
She predicts that cuts in interest rates and the sheer number of tenants will help to keep the buy-to-let investor in business. "There will be those investors who want to crystallise gains, but those will be the speculators who are struggling to get tenants," Ms Earley said. Lance Armstrong and 17th U.S. Surgeon General Carmona Announce ...
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Joined by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Lance Armstrong and immediate past Surgeon General Dr. Richard Carmona today discussed Lance's request to the Surgeons General Collective to create a national strategy to combat cancer. "This year alone, 1.4 million Americans are expected to be diagnosed with cancer and 560,000 will likely lose their lives to the disease," said Lance Armstrong, founder and chairman of the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF). "Cancer has become an epidemic that touches every single American life and costs our economy over $300 billion every year. The time has come to move aggressively against this foe and that is why I have asked Dr. Carmona to lead the Surgeons General Collective in forming a national strategy to fight cancer.
A super Tuesday for Republicans
The rush of primaries this week all but handed the Republican nomination to John McCain, but the fight between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama is going to drag on, at least for weeks and perhaps for months. The risk for the Democrats is clear. Mr McCain can start to rally support among the party's conservatives and evangelicals – at best cool towards him – and begin campaigning against the Democrats. Mrs Clinton and Mr Obama will be concentrating on each other. This is not how it was supposed to be. It was the Republicans who lacked a candidate with broad appeal across the party. It was the Republicans who, demoralised by the unpopularity of the Bush administration and longing in vain for an heir to Ronald Reagan, would expend their depleted energies on internecine squabbles.
